ETPOS will cover the prairie, savanna and forested ecoregions of the Midwest. States included are ND, SD, KS, NE, MN, IA, WI, MO, IL, MI, IN and OH.
The Eastern Tallgrass Prairie and Oak Savanna (ETPOS) Fire Science Consortium is a new venture aimed at fire science delivery and knowledge exchange in the midwestern United States. Created with funding from the Joint Fire Science Program, ETPOS will consolidate information and create a network through which the regional fire community can share knowledge and ideas.
