Education resources from National Geographic Learning, part of Cengage Learning, have been named finalists in five 2015 REVERE Award categories for engaging teachers and learners. The REVERE (Recognizing Valuable Educational Resources) Awards, produced by the Association of American Publishers (AAP) PreK-12 Learning Group, are the only awards of their kind to recognize learning resources in all media, for all ages, and covering a wide array of educational subject areas and learning environments.
2015 National Geographic Learning finalists in their respective sub-categories include:
Reach for Reading – Classroom competition, Whole Curriculum category, Reading and Language Arts
National Geographic Learning Exploring Science – Classroom, Whole Curriculum, Science, Health, and the Environment
National Geographic Explore – Classroom, Supplemental Resources, Social Sciences and History
National Geographic Learning Catalog – Integrated Marketing, Campaign budget between $ 30K – $ 75K
National Geographic AP Student of the Year Award – Integrated Marketing, Campaign budget under $ 30K

REVERE Award finalists were chosen by evaluation of quality content and design, audience engagement and appropriateness, usability and originality and effectiveness, along with comments and recommendations given by judges. 2015 winners will be announced on Wednesday, June 3rd during the REVERE Awards Gala in Washington DC.
